About Us:
HeartCare Imaging (HCI) is a leader in providing diagnostic imaging services to healthcare facilities nationwide. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Sonographer to provide maternity leave coverage at our Franklin, KY location. Franklin, KY is about 45 minutes outside of Nashville and 30 minutes outside of Bowling Green, KY. This is a 12-week temporary position with a focus on general, vascular, and cardiac ultrasound services.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in the areas of general, vascular, and cardiac imaging.
  • Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to deliver accurate diagnostic information.
  • Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of imaging findings.
  • Provide compassionate patient care and maintain a professional environment.
  • Follow protocols and adhere to industry standards in diagnostic imaging.

Qualifications:

  • Current RDMS or RVT certification required.
  • Specialization in General, Vascular, and Cardiac (optional) Sonography.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Registered Sonographer.
  • Knowledge of imaging protocols and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule & Compensation:

  • 12-week temporary coverage.
  • Full-time schedule (Monday-Friday), 8-hour shifts.
  • Competitive wage based on experience.

Independently performs all phases of diagnostic nuclear medicine using technical knowledge and good judgment to provide safe and effective examinations. Duties include the acquiring and processing of patient studies, setting up reading for physicians, maintaining accurate and complete daily records, as well as close correspondence with the home office.
