Independently performs all phases of diagnostic nuclear medicine using technical knowledge and good judgment to provide safe and effective examinations. Duties include the acquiring and processing of patient studies, setting up reading for physicians, maintaining accurate and complete daily records, as well as close correspondence with the home office. Required for PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist:
- Must be certified by the ARRT and/or NMTCB
- Carry Professional Liability Insurance
- Prefer at least two years of experience as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Certified Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (maintain current at all times)
